It explains the main regions for photography in Madeira, where to stay, how long you might need, and how to organise your trip around the best locations and conditions.
The second part explores photography locations across Madeira, with details of 40+ spots including parking information where relevant. Each location includes mapping links and practical advice for the images you can make there, including the best areas to explore, timing, access and useful gear considerations.

The Google MyMaps for photography and travel in Madeira features 100+ pins with photography locations, parking areas and useful logistics information across the island.
The map shows photography spots, car parks, public toilets, cable cars, trailheads, water taxi points and practical travel advice. Using this interactive resource, you can explore the information as a mapping layer and get directions straight to the locations featured in Google Maps.
The photography spots are separated into an A-list and a B-list to help prioritise your time. You can use the A-list to guide your plans and focus on the strongest locations for the best light. Use the B-list as a set of extra opportunities to visit when you are nearby, have more time, or want to explore more widely.
Other pins mark useful logistics, including parking, facilities and access points, with explanations and recommendations to help you plan your time on location.
